Amanda Makulec, MPH is a health data visualization designer, teacher, and speaker who lives in Washington DC with her husband, son, and a fluffy shiba inu pup. She lost her secondborn son when he was just shy of three months old and seeks ways to support and advocate for the needs of parents experiencing loss, since others did the same for her.
